1. Data Protection at a Glance

General Information

The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally.

Data Collection on This Website

Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. Their contact details can be found in the imprint of this website.

How do we collect your data?
Your data is collected firstly by you providing it to us. This could be data that you enter into a contact form, for example. Other data is collected automatically or after your consent when you visit the website by our IT systems. This is primarily technical data (e.g., internet browser, operating system, or time of page access).

What do we use your data for?
Part of the data is collected to ensure error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used, after your consent, to analyze your user behavior.

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by an external service provider (host). The personal data collected on this website is stored on the host's servers. This may include IP addresses, contact requests, metadata and communication data, contract data, contact details, names, website access, and other data generated via a website.

The host is used for the purpose of fulfilling contracts with our potential and existing customers (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR) and in the interest of secure, fast, and efficient provision of our online services by a professional provider (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

3. General Information and Mandatory Information

Data Protection

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

The responsible party for data processing on this website is:

Marco Schleicher
Drosselweg 5

Phone: +49 172 262 1478
Email: marco.schleicher@outlook.de

Storage Duration

Unless a more specific storage period has been specified within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for data processing no longer applies. If you make a legitimate request for deletion or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data.

4. Data Collection on This Website

Server Log Files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of their website.

Contact Form

If you send us an inquiry via the contact form on this website, your details from the inquiry form (name, email address, and your message), including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR if your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) where it has been requested.

The contact form is technically processed and delivered to us via the form backend of our hosting provider Netlify (Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Netlify processes the submitted form data on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). A transfer to the USA may take place; this is safeguarded by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses as an appropriate safeguard (Art. 46 para. 2 lit. c GDPR). The data transfer is encrypted (SSL/TLS).

Inquiry by Email or Phone

If you contact us by email or phone, your inquiry, including all resulting personal data (name, inquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

5. Social Networks (external links)

This website does not embed any social media plugins or other active elements of social networks. In the imprint and the footer, you will find only plain hyperlinks to our profiles on LinkedIn and XING. A connection to the servers of these networks is established only when you actively click one of these links. Merely visiting this website does not transfer any data to LinkedIn or XING. Once you click a link, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies:

LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland – Privacy Policy.
New Work SE (XING), Dammtorstraße 30, 20354 Hamburg, Germany – Privacy Policy.

6. Analytics and Advertising

Google Analytics (only with your consent)

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics is loaded and used only after your explicit consent via our cookie banner. Without this consent, no analysis takes place and no analytics cookies are set.

The legal basis for its use is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TDDDG. Consent is voluntary and can be revoked at any time with effect for the future — via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of this website.

We have activated IP anonymization (anonymize_ip). As a result, your IP address is truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to transmission. Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of the use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server and stored there. A transfer of this data to Google in the USA may take place. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the transfer is therefore covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission (Art. 45 GDPR), supplemented by Standard Contractual Clauses. For more information on how Google Analytics handles user data, please see Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Fonts

The fonts used on this website are served locally from our own server (self-hosted). There is no connection to Google Fonts servers or other external font services; no data is transferred to third parties for this purpose.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipient, and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time (Art. 15 GDPR). You also have the right to request the correction (Art. 16 GDPR) or deletion (Art. 17 GDPR) of this data. If you have given consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time for the future. Furthermore, under certain circumstances, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data (Art. 18 GDPR), as well as the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

Where processing is based on a legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR), you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to such processing (Art. 21 GDPR).

Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

8. SSL or TLS Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
